late entry about sony bmg taipei concert

it's been a month since i last posted here...and this post is supposed to be 美食篇 part 3...but...eh...well let's talk about something else 1st.

didn't take many pics during my work trip to taipei, but reallie love this one!

the doggie is soooooooooo cute!!

i think his breed is 紅貴賓 or something like that...don't think i recall having seen it in singapore before. anyone knows if i can get such doggies in sg? let me knoe! he was so adorable...i couldn't stop oogling at him...started chatting to his owner...who's about to open a shop at the place where i was shopping...and the owner told me he spent like $2500 on this cutie pie!! so sweet...so lovable...so cuddly...and so small and fragile...think he only weighs about 500g?? sigh...if only i could bring him back...

suddenly, i feel like i'm being unfaithful to yuanyuan. oogling at other dogs!! sorrie dearie... :P

sony bmg taipei concert was great...hardly get the chance to see so many stars perform at one go!

haha just realised i took so many pics of food during the trip...coz each meal was great and so were the restaurants!

the following are pics of my fave restaurant for the whole trip. it's a place called alley cats, tucked away in a quiet back alley of the quaint little town of york...we chanced upon it by accident...thanks to junie for spotting the sign and wanting to check it out...simply loved it!

Okies before i begin, i've decided to officially express my gratitude to Cruz: THANKS for letting me go taipei! great concert and more duty-free shopping...yay...

very cool pub/restaurant called haunch of venison in salisbury. supposed to be famous for the mummified remains of a person's chopped off hand?? but so as not to spoil our appetite, we decided to give that a miss...

great ambience...

and most importantly, wonderful food! (thanks to lonely planet travel guide for the great recommendation...)

色香味俱全! and it's prepared by a guy friend...*feels ashamed of my culinary skills*

where we had fish and chips...

and scones with butter and jam (?!) for dinner...haha coz we die die must try the local english food...
